What is LATISSE®? LATISSE® solution is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
How does it work? LATISSE® is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in 2 ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The exact way it works is unknown.
How soon will I see results? The onset of effect with LATISSE® solution is gradual. In clinical trial, themajority of LATISSE® users saw a significant improvement by 2 months.
How is LATISSE® different? Only LATISSE® has been approved by the FDA as a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes. It also has been studied in clinical trial to demonstrate its safety and effectiveness.
Can anyone use LATISSE®?
You should not use LATISSE® solution if you are allergic to one of its ingredients. Also, tell your doctor or eye care specialist if any of the following apply to you:
Previously diagnosed with eye pressure problems: People with a history of eye pressure problems (specifically elevated intraocular pressure) should speak to an eye care specialist before starting LATISSE®

What is a LATISSE™?
Latisse solution, a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis, promotes the growth of eyelashes, making them longer, thicker and darker. Hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes.
How does LATISSE™ work?
The active ingredient in LATISSE™ is bimatoprost. Although the precise mechanism of action is not known, research suggests that the growth of eyelashes occurs by increasing the percent of hairs in, and the duration of, the anagen (or growth) phase. Lashes can grow longer, thicker and darker because bimatoprost can also prolong this growth phase.
What are the benefits of LATISSE™?
LATISSE™ users can expect to experience longer, fuller and darker eyelashes.
How Many LATISSE™ treatments will I need?
LATISSE™ is a once-daily treatment
How soon will results appear?
LATISSE™ users can expect to experience longer, fuller and darker eyelashes in as little as eight weeks, with full results in 16 weeks.
How long do the results last?
To maintain effect, continued treatment with LATISSE™ is required. If use of LATISSE™ is discontinued, eyelashes will gradually return to where they were prior to treatment over a period of weeks to months (average eyelash hair cycle).
Are there any possible side effects? Throughout clinical trials, some users did experience itchy eyes and eye redness. However, some users found that these irritations went away once they became accustomed to the product or began applying it properly.

If you are using, or have used, prescription products for any eye pressure problems, only use LATISSE® under close doctor care. LATISSE® use may cause increased brown pigmentation of the colored part of the eye which is likely permanent. Eyelid skin darkening may occur which may be reversible. Only apply at the base of the upper eyelashes. DO NOT APPLY to the lower eyelid. Hair growth may occur in other skin areas that LATISSE® solution frequently touches. If you develop or experience any eye problems or have eye surgery, consult your doctor immediately about continued use of LATISSE®. The most common side effects after using LATISSE® solution are itchy eyes and/or eye redness. If discontinued, lashes will gradually return to their previous appearance.

Instructions
- Remove an applicator from its tray. Then, holding the sterile applicator horizontally, place one drop of LATISSE® solution on the area of the applicator closest to the tip but not on the tip.
- Then immediately draw the applicator carefully across the skin of the upper eyelid margin at the base of the eyelashes (where the eyelashes meet the skin) going from the inner part of your lash line to the outer part.
- Blotany excess solution beyond the eyelid margin.
- Dispose of the applicator after one use. Repeat for the opposite upper eyelid margin using a new sterile applicator. This helps minimize any potential for contamination from one eyelid to another.
Important: DO NOT APPLY in your eye or to the lower lid. Only use the sterile applicators that come with LATISSE.™
