You’ve heard of Microdermabrasion, now there is “Hydro-dermabrasion

Announcing the addition of Hydro-dermabrasion at Yolo Laser Center & Med Spa. Hydro-dermabrasion can be a stand-alone treatment or combined with medical microdermabrasion for smoother silky skin.

The Hydro-dermabrasion uses specialized wands that attach to our Medical Diamondtome™ Microdermabrasion. It is very similar to the Hydrafacial® with the advantage of having a powerful Medical micrdermabasion if needed. “With the Hydrowand® we can now infuse serums deeper in the skin where they are more effective.” We customize the use of powerful serums that can treat hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness as well as Rosacea. “The addition of the Hydro-wand allows us to treat people who haven’t been able to have microdermabrasion in the past”, states Nikki Rasmussen, RN.

As colder weather approaches most of us suffer from dry, dull skin. Usually drinking more water or applying more moisturizer doesn’t help, as dry skin creates a barrier that keeps skincare products from penetrating. Removing this superficial layer of dull skin through either microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, or with a chemical peel and then using the Hydro-wand to infuse moisture will penetrate to a deeper level, resulting in glowing skin.

The “Hydro-dermabrasion Facial” treatment is the newest advance in non-laser skin resurfacing.
